PROUD SPONSOR OF MAINE EAST DECA
The Maine East chapter of
DECA, an association of marketing students, took
13 members to Anaheim, California this spring for
the 63rd annual International Career Development
Conference. DECA is a student-centered
organization whose program of leadership &
personal development is designed specifically for
students enrolled in marketing and business
education classes. This year's MEHS contingency
was most impressive. Ten of the students
were recognized as being ranked in the top 20% of
their respective business categories at the
conference. That equates to ten ME students being
in the top 1% nationally. Even more impressive was
Niles native, Lauren Rossi, who made it to the
finals where she placed 4th in the nation.
C&M is proud to be a DECA sponsor, and
congratulates all the National
Qualifers and DECA advisor, Dale Lasky, on
their stellar performances!

Upcoming Event:
Women in Business -
Car Care 101 
C&M is sponsoring an
"automotive boot camp" for the Niles Chamber of
Commerce Women in Business, on Tuesday, July 21st.
Participants can expect a complete tour of a
vehicle, lessons on changing oil, coolant and
tires; and important safety information.
Armed with their newly acquired car smarts, the
Car 101 graduates will be able to recognize
potential problems and prevent new ones from
occurring.
This fall,
C&M plans on partnering with Oakton Community
College's Alliance for Lifelong Learning, and will
offer another class for any interested
clients.
